We're back from a wonderfully relaxing vacation in sunny Jamaica. This was a combination First Anniversary & birthday present for me. (Doesn't my hubby rock?!) It was nice just to have some time to ourselves.

Just prior to leaving, I emailed our facilitator to let her know that we'll be out of the country and basically unreachable for the week. I couldn't help myself, and just HAD to ask if there was any recent interest in our profile. Her response wasn't exactly what I wanted to hear, so I guess I learned my lesson. ("Don't ask if you don't want to know the answer!") Her response was along the lines of "One EMom, but she doesn't seem to be committing to an adoption plan."
Hmm.

Oh, Jamaica sounds wonderful...glad you had a relaxing time!!! Happy Anniversary!
As for the facilitator message...argh. I know it's so frustrating not to hear anything encouraging. But your day will come and when your facilitator calls you with the amazing news, it will just about knock your socks off. Hang in there! It's going to happen!!
Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog!
Yes, I know all too well what you are talking about- our social worker is very much a realist and tries not to get our hopes up. I respect that, but oftentimes want some encouragement! It is so hard to wait! :)
Your vacation sounds amazing. I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Beautiful pic! Looking forward to reading about your journey....
